Matt Cassin

Matt is the founder and managing member of JMC. Prior to founding JMC, Matt worked at Tishman Speyer for a number of years, the last three of which were spent working directly for the firm’s Co-CEO overseeing various strategic initiatives around the globe. Prior to Tishman Speyer, Matt founded and developed two venture capital-backed companies: the first, LiveAdvice, was sold to its primary competitor in 2003 and subsequently to AT&T in 2007; the second, Coleman Research Group, continues to operate today as a leading independent research firm.

Matt received his bachelors degree from Georgetown University, where he was the captain of the Division I Men’s Lacrosse Team, and received his MBA from Columbia Business School. Matt, his wife Holly, and their children live in Manhattan.
