Plane Overshoots Landing in Jamaica

Tuesday night in Jamaica, an American Airlines flight met with a more-than-usual rough landing. Death Sentences Dying Out

According to a recent report by the Death Penalty Information Center, death sentences have been dropping for seven years now. In 1994, sentences peaked with 328, and only 106 were projected for 2009. during the 1990s, the average annual rate of inmates put to death was 295. Millions in Knockoffs Seized

The U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement recovered more than 700,000 items worth $26 million. The bust, known as “Operation Holiday Hoax,” covered 42 cities and 26 states, and authorities arrested seven in New York and Texas.
